I’m in Johnson’s Crossing. And you know, old Anal Johnson’s right about old man Johnson being right. And no hornswaggling, backstabbing, frickenfracker is going to stop me from cycling all the way to Watson Lake, no way, no how!

Looking more like Dad every day…….come to think of it, didn`t one of his favourite stories involve being chased up a tree by a bear in the Canadian wilderness?
Can you remember any more? Because at this rate it’s going to be the only Coombes bear story!
The beard’s not looking as long as I thought it would do by now, you still look quite respectable. I think Paul’s right, you’re lucky you could get out of Whitehorse without a horde of excited ladies in tow (or maybe that is what happened, only you know…). What I do want to know, is why is Tetlin Junction infamous (as described in your trackmytour map)?
Looking at some pics of the Cassier/Stewart highway it looks like your in for some spectacular scenery….and bears….and wolves…..and Llamas! Seems most of its paved now so should be good riding. 450 miles of it!
Looks like your riding the edge of a lake for a few days. Got any fishing gear as there must be Salmon.
Glad to see the beards coming along & hope those bits on the chin fill in so you can really get all that raw fish mixed up in it.
Cant remember any more dad/bear stories only the large conga eel/small boat one.
